Manners
03.05.04 (6:14 am)   [edit]
You can use manners. You say; "excuse me", "please", "thank you", "sorry", and "your welcome". You can also do things that you don't have to do. You use manners to be polite.

Hello grade 3 class -

I like your definition of manners. I am still learning English because my mother tongue is Danish, so I would like to ask: can you explain what is the difference between god manners and bad manners? How do you know when your manners are bad or unacceptable? And, do you think that sometimes, what you are brought up to believe are good manners, would be understood differently in other cultures?

Rocio,
You used good manners when you told me "thank you" for the ice cream coupon. It was just a small little thing you said, but it made my day!
