You can use manners. You say; "excuse me", "please", "thank you", "sorry", and "your welcome". You can also do things that you don't have to do. You use manners to be polite.

Manners are very important to have in this world. For example; when you go to a fine restaurant, you would want to use your nicest manners. You wouldn't want to be eating with your hands and have your face covered with food, it would be embarrassing! Everybody would be looking at you or even laughing. A person who uses manners respects other people because manners are the way in which you act towards others. Also when you assist someone, that is using your manners. I would say that assisting someone is one of the most important manners their is. When you assist someone do it in your nicest manners. Assist them and don't play around with them or their feelings.

I always push my mannners as far as it can measure, For nothing special, But for my own pleasure. I try to use my manners as much as possible, So when I grow up my manners can't be stoppable. My friend's manners can't be toppable, I try my best to look up to her, But to have such manners I'm not sure. When you use your manners you don't loose them, They increase. You should keep using them so they don't decrease. You should not be rude, Or when you grow up you'll be crude. Before I finish this poem I have one thing to say, You can use your manners as much as you may.

| Enhancing good writing |
| 02.19.04 (7:12 am) [edit] |
This is a writing weblog to celebrate the Writing of Third Graders at J.H. House Elementary School in Rockdale County. The Third Grade Teachers are:
Mrs. Tanner Ms. Rikard Mr. Lane Mrs. McCullers
The teachers will select writings of children who have worked hard to produce good writing pieces. We hope to spotlight each and every child over the next few months. We welcome you to use the comment feature to let our children know what you think of their writing! They would love to hear from you!
By the way, the name of this weblog was chosen because we live in Rockdale County and we think that writing is one of the very most important things that our children can learn. Also, it can be a lot of fun! This is why we picked the name "Writer's Rock!"
